Scentwork Classes

Scent work allows your dog to use its strongest natural sense: its nose. It’s challenging, fun, and builds and strengthens the bond between the handler and their dog.  This class is for beginners only! If you are already doing scent work this is NOT the class for you. 

We will be using AKC odors, Birch, Anise, Clove and Cypress.   Training for NOVICE Container, NOVICE Interior and NOVICE Handler Discrimination, in which the target scent is the handler. 

Class will supply you with 11 boxes and 1 glove. You will be responsible for purchasing your oils.  Leerburg and Amazon have the full Kit.  Etsy has the AKC travel Kit.  You MUST have your oils kit for your first class, January 7, 2022. I encourage you to register early and order your oils early. Basic obedience class is a prerequisite.  

There will be two classes offered on Fridays, and the fee for this 8-week class is $110 for non-members and $60 for members.
