(S5-Th 11:30) AKC Tricks - Beginner & Intermediate

About this event

This fun and engaging class prepares you and your dog to earn AKC Trick Dog titles. Trick training is not only Lots-o-FUN—it also provides mental stimulation, strengthens your bond, and builds confidence, helping your dog become a happier, more resilient companion.

Testing for your Trick Dog title is included with the class. Standalone testing (without enrolling in the class) is available for $25. Please note: AKC charges additional fees when you submit your Title Application to receive your official AKC title.

Prerequisites: All dogs must be comfortable off-leash and able to work politely around other dogs at all times.

Novice Trick Dog – Beginner Level
This is the entry-level for new students. Dogs must have completed a Basic Obedience class or earned the AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) title.

Intermediate Tricks level - must have attended the Beginner Tricks class or earned the AKC Novice Trick Dog title. If your dog has not yet passed the Novice test, it must be completed at least 4 weeks before the final class to be eligible to test at the Intermediatelevel.

Advanced Tricks level - must have attended the Intermediate Tricks class or earned the AKC Intermediate Trick Dog title. If your dog has not yet passed the Intermediate test, the Intermediate test must be completed at least 4 weeks before the final class to be eligible to test at the Advancedlevel.

Performer level - dogs must have attended the Advanced Tricks class or earned the AKC Advanced Trick Dog title. If your dog has not yet passed the Advanced test, the Advanced test must be completed at least 4 weeks before to the final class to be eligible to test at the Performer level.

CRATES ARE REQUIRED for all dogs enrolled in this class.
