You are invited to join the first New Member Mentorship Meeting on Sunday, September 13 at 3:00 p.m. at the club.

This meeting is especially for our newer members and applicants who may want a little guidance navigating IRDTC, but we’d also like to invite any member who is interested to come see what the mentorship program is all about. Even if you’ve been a member for a while, you’re welcome to attend if you’d like a refresher or want to learn more about how the club works.

We’ll talk about things like how the club operates, club culture and sportsmanship, classes and dog sports, trials and events, volunteering, club resources and communication, and the many ways to get involved at IRDTC. We’ll also walk through the facility and leave plenty of time for questions.

Going forward, we plan to hold these mentorship meetings every other month. Because our first meeting is coming up on fairly short notice, we’ll also offer a second introductory meeting in late October. If you’re unable to attend September 13, you’ll have another opportunity to join us—and you’re certainly welcome to attend both.

No registration is required—just come if you’d like to join us. If you’re a newer member and there’s something specific you’ve been unsure about, this is a great time to bring those questions with you.

Our goal is simply to help newer members feel more comfortable, understand what’s available to them, and become more connected to the club and its members.
