Teacup Agility Classes

Teacup Agility (Full Courses)

This six-week class is for small dogs (17" at the shoulder or under) and follows guidelines put forth by the Teacup Dogs Agility Association (TDAA). A full course is set up in the ring each week, and dog and handler teams take turns running the course. This sport offers the same challenges that regular agility has for larger breeds, but with scaled down equipment for the little guys. IRDTC has the specialized, small-scale equipment used for this sport, with thick rubberized matting. Best of all, the smaller equipment allows for classes to be held inside, in our air conditioning/heated building! Dogs taking this class should already have some basic obedience skills, especially a good recall.

Prerequisite: a basic obedience class or personal evaluation by the instructor.
