(S1) CGCA/Therapy Dog (off campus) -- CANCELED

The FIRST class will be held at the IRDTC Training Building, 1651 Robert J Conlan Blvd NE.  Subsequent classes will be held at various location in the area TBD.

 

This class not only prepares you and your dog to take the Canine Good Citizen Advanced (CGCA) test; it also helps you and your dog acquire skills necessary to becoming a Therapy Dog Team. Therapy Dog Teams go to nursing homes, schools, hospitals, workplaces, and just about any location where the presence of a dog can bring comfort or joy to the people present. Through this class, you will acquire skills that can help as you prepare to be tested through one of the several Therapy Dog organizations that certify dog and handler teams.

 

There is an additional fee to be paid to the AKC to obtain the CGCA certificate and title.

 

Pre-requisite:  Your dog must have passed the CGC test. Registrants must provide a copy of their CGC certificates when registering for this class.

Cancellation Policy:
Refunds issued before classes start will be credited to your club express account. This credit can be applied to another class registration.

If you prefer to be refunded to your PayPal account, please contact the IRDTC Treasurer at irdtctreasurer2021@gmail.com. All refunds processed through PayPal will be minus the transaction fees that IRDTC was charged.
