Please read everything carefully before registering for this class. * You must NOT have an aggressive dog. * Dogs must have a solid recall and have completed beginner and advanced beginner obedience. * In the CGC classes your dog cannot wear a prong collar or a no pull harness. They should be able to move freely in a buckle or martingale collar. The FIRST class will be held at the IRDTC Training Building, 1651 Robert J Conlan Blvd NE. Subsequent classes will be held at various location in the surrounding area and are in the eye of the public. During the 8 weeks your dog will demonstrate the 10 required behaviors. Upon completion of the class, you are tested and proven that your dog succeeded in accomplishing these skills within the community.
You can submit your test results to the AKC for an additional fee to obtain the CGC certificate and title.
Please bring high value treats, a 10 ft leash for recalls, and a regular 8 ft leash. This is a fun class for both handler and dog.
